| Introduction | I began my crafting obsession as a young girl. Nearly all my female relatives (and maybe a couple of the men, too) practiced at least one craft. Whether it was sewing, crochet, embroidery or macramé, there was always a project or three lying around. Through this blog, it is my intention to keep alive the simple idea of "making things" for family and friends. From baby blankets to tents to a special birthday cake, I hope you will find some inspiration to go make something for yourself or a loved one. Will everything we attempt turn out exactly as we had planned? Maybe not. But, that is a special part of the process. I am not sure who said this first, but it is a good thought to keep in mind: "It is not a mistake, it is a design opportunity." So, feel free to browse. You will see some of my past and current projects. Some with formal instructions, some with general guidelines. Maybe even a recipe or two. Have comments or questions? Drop me a line.
