| Introduction | Hi, my name is Trent Miller. I am a Director of Finance by day and a mixed media artist by night & weekend. I started my venture into mixed media back in Nov 2011 by making my first Christmas card. I thank my dear friend Michael Farrell for starting me down this path. Michael inspired me to start making cards and has enabled me to find a creative part of myself. I am a mixed media artist who loves making homemade cards, tags, wall art, canvas pieces and more. I get my inspiration from my idol Tim Holtz, other individual contributor blogs, artists, designers, and my friend Michael Farrell. I am an artist who has a deep passion and drive to create distress vintage art that will make someone smile. There is no greater gift than appreciation and recognition of one’s work through recognition of efforts and grit by providing enjoyment through art. I get my proudest moment as an artist when I hear from my recipients and see how my creation has lifted their spirits. I thank Tammy Ryan for her gracious gifts of supplies to start my hobby and her support in me becoming a card maker. |
