| Introduction | I'm a guy that has a real job, a family I love, and a passion for sports and life. This blog is a hobby. It allows me to focus on sports (I call it “research” which makes it seem important), keeps my mind “sharpish”, and allows me to think I’m more creative than I really am. I have moved around a lot in my life allowing me to latch on to the teams that I like as opposed to being stuck with the teams in my area. I am a huge Packer fan, I follow the Reds in baseball and the Rockets in basketball and hockey is well hockey. In college sports, I do like the Big 12...err 10...the conference that still has UT, OU, and Baylor (yes Baylor, I'm an alum.) And like everyone, I follow the SEC because of its tradition, uniqueness, and let’s face it, it’s quite satisfying. It’s like a good steak dinner, fulfilling yet leaves you with just the slightest tinge of guilt. But this blog follows all sports. If two or more people can compete and if there can be a winner and a loser, I'm interested, for the most part. Well, except poker, horse racing, and various Olympic sports that use ribbons, animals, or really tight nose plugs. So enjoy. I enjoy it and the “research” is relaxing too… |
