| Introduction | I'm in my 60s and I've lived most of the time since 1987 in the Northern Territory. I do freelance work - writing, editing and some support work for remote Aboriginal communities. I've been a journalist, a minder, a media spokesman and a speechwriter. In previous lives I was a teacher (briefly, fortunately for me and the system) and I've been a cook, waiter, bookseller, labourer, surveyor's assistant and an artists' model, among other things. I was also a layabout for a while in the early 70s. I used to be a Pom, too, but I've seen the error of my ways and now travel as an Australian citizen. |
