Introduction	A Democrat who is an active member of the Church of Christ. A politically left-of-center investment advisor. A clean-cut guy who enjoys a good punk/ska band. I loathe contemporary country music, but appreciate Cash, Hank, and bluegrass. You could say I'm conflicted.

Favorite movies	The Godfather films, The Big Lebowski, most any WWII film. I pretty much just cannibalize my own DVD collection.
Favorite music	Hard to nail down. Green Day to Dwight Yoakum. Del McCoury to Flogging Molly. Todd Snider to Chris Isaak. Ryan Adams to Woody Guthrie. Again, conflicted.
Favorite books	Catcher in the Rye - Salinger, Travels with Charley - Steinbeck, Autobiography of Malcolm X, Band of Brothers - Ambrose, Founding Myths - Raphael. Dozens of other history texts that would bore most to tears
