Introduction Family emigrated to Pennsylvania in from Wittgenstein, Germany (just west of Marburg, Hessia) in 1764 and by 1766 was the first family to settle on John Penn's "Spread Eagle Manor" in the Mahantango Valley of present Northumberland County, PA. In 1800, the family then moved west to help found Armstrong County with some Revolutionary War "bounty men." I hold a BSEd in Social Studies Education and Political Science; MA in American Studies; 70% complete a doctorate in Educational Leadership; Retired Army infantry major; Was the chief operations advisor for the fighting 4th Brigade, 1st Division, Iraqi Army, in Fallujah, Iraq, and helped turn our red zone into green by using nonconventional counter-insurgency doctrine; Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Bosnia and Iraq Service Medals, 1st and 2nd Marine divisions Combat patches; 20 years of teaching experience; Published author
