| Introduction | Yes the name of my blog has changed, it has evolved, as I have. It is no longer about what I have or even what I do but rather who I have become. The day my husband told me his employer was transferring him to the small rural town we grew up in, I immediately went into panic mode. Little did I know the humble plot of land we purchased would provide joy of which I have never experienced. These seven sacred acres feel safe and protective. They have become my soft place to fall. The harsh wind and the hot sun ground me. Working in the dirt and watching the garden grow keeps me mindful and centered. Caring for our various animals keeps me grounded and calm. Living a simple life has allowed me let go of resentment and anger acknowledge my past as just that, my past and accept what is. On this day I find myself grateful for the fresh air, the wide openness, the tiniest details that remind me of Gods wonderful gifts every single day.....all on these Seven Sacred Acres. |
