| Introduction | I'm a mommy of Advanced Maternal Age (AMA), having given birth to my first of three kids just a couple of months shy of my 40th birthday. Big Brother is 8 years old (when did THAT happen?) and a sensitive, deep thinker. Sister is 6 years old and our know-it-all disciplinarian. And then there is Tank, who at 3 years old runs over everything like a, well, tank. I am constantly overwhelmed and surprised by this Mommy thing and these little creatures that follow me from room to room. And I was just getting ready to carry up all this clean laundry in our living room before you arrived. Really. |
