Introduction | Hello new friends! My name is Shannon. I am so glad you stopped in to read about me here on my blog. I am new to this, so please excuse its simplicity. I am a housewife. A good, old fashioned, housewife. As of yet, the Good Lord has not blessed us with children, but we are still hoping that parenthood is in our future. I am a pretty simple person. I am a Christian, I am a wife, I like to keep my life and home simple. My husband has enough of the chaos in the world, so I like to make a little island of peace for him to rest in when he is home. More often than not my days are spent doing whatever chores I have to do as quickly as I can so that I can settle down with a cup of tea, a Jane Austen movie, and a current craft project in my lap. I LOVE to cook, and bake, and people coming up the stairwell to our little apartment are often greeted with the smell of pot roast, Indian food or baking bread. Join me for a cup of Tea and please let me know you have been here by leaving a comment:) God Bless! |
