| Introduction | I am Senior Lecturer in Intercultural Communication at the University of Westminster, London. I was previously senior teaching fellow at the UCL School of European Languages Culture and Society (Italian Departmnet). In 2009 I concluded a two years Post-doctoral Mellon Fellowship at UCL with a research project on migration and Italian literature. My current research revolves around migration in relation to cultural expression with a focus on visual art.
