About me

Introduction	A Canadian-German family of four (Astrid, Bjoern, 11 year old Kaja and 5 year old Kioni) arrived in Kathmandu in September 2010 to begin a two year stint in this fascinating place. After working with WUSC in Vietnam for a total of three years Astrid is now working as a Gender and Social Inclusion Advisor with WUSC's partner CECI through the CIDA funded Uniterra program. Bjoern is writing, writing, writing... the PhD dissertation and dreaming of South Africa while enjoying life in South Asia. K1 and K2 are going to school, making new friends and still patiently putting up with parents who refuse to 'settle down'.
