IntroductionI love reenacting! I always portray wealthy women, after all they have the best dresses not to mention the whole point of make believe is to be something you're not! My husband and I portray characters from the Regency era through the Roaring 20's. Our primary era of focus is the Victorian era, specifically the Civil War. It's not that this is our favorite time period but the one with the most opportunity to dress up and travel to another era. We have encountered many wonderful people in our adventures of the past who share the same love of history and reenacting. My favorite era is that of the 1870's-1880's. Over the years I have learned how to create my persona and exhibit her with accuracy. Budget conscious approaches to reenacting have been a long but beneficial learning experience. I hope to share some of my discoveries with those interested in joining the ranks of historic reenactors! See you in the past!
