Introduction	My name is Jacquetta Mace Chatman. I am in my 6th year of education in South Carolina. I have a passion for educating our country's urban youth. The task can be very challenging at times, but yet rewarding to see the growth and development of the children. I am a fourth grade AAP (Advanced Academic Program) teacher and team leader in Richland County School District One in the Midlands of South Carolina. I've taught grades 2,4, & 5. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education for Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. My most valuable accomplishments occurred during the time I successfully completed my master's degree, move to a new house, worked, and became a mother for the second time, all in the same year. I received my master of education degree from Columbia College in Divergent Learning. Through that program of study, I found that I'm an analytical learner to heart. This is my sixth semester in Nova's Doctorate of Education program with a concentration in Educational Leadership and a minor in curriculum and program development. I participated in a blended model. I had the BEST cohort ever! They were awesome!
