| Introduction | I live in a wonderful mountain home with my beautiful wife, two wonderful kids and a cat that thinks he's a mountain lion. My home is a charming little mountain cabin that sets along a quaint little creek and when the days are nice I enjoy just hanging out in the tipi and listening to the creek. I feel that I am quite a blessed man. I built a home studio for our business TLC Unlimited. It's a graphic design business but at this time in my life I am lucky enough to call the Outdoors my "New Office". I have been working on a project that I call Plein Air 365™ and this is the reason for starting my blog. I would like to share with you my daily journey. Since December 31 of 2008 I have been outdoors everyday painting and this year marks the start of my 3rd year of Plein Air 365™. My goal of painting 900 Plein Air paintings in three years will have been completed this year. A task that as far as I can find has not been done, and I must say there have been days that I have been pushed near the breaking point to get a painting done. Yet here I am three years later on this wonderful journey, and I say to you from the bottom of my heart, thank you for sharing this journey with me. |
| Interests | I think my wife would say I have too many interests and hobbies. My biggest interest is split-in two with Art and Martial Arts. I have spent my entire life drawing, painting or creating something. I have also devoted over 33 years of my life participating in martial arts. In 1992 I decided to devote myself to the fighting art of KunTao Silat. I also enjoy blade smithing, bike riding, gold panning, fishing, sculpting, building fast cars, being outdoors, metaphysics, religion, history, philosophy and science. |
