| Introduction | I'm a software engineer in the flight simulator industry who watches films and reads novels. In early 2007 I created the Film Walrus as a reservoir for my movie reviews, essays, rants, lists and other material. The Film Walrus is dedicated to the appreciation and analysis of cult films, foreign cinema, old classics, overlooked gems, film noir and gialli. In 2014 I started my most ambitious project: The Film Atlas. It features reviews of my favorite film from 120+ countries.
