Taught Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, & Physical Geography for about 13 years at both high school & college levels. Was a working cowboy for a short while on ranches in Colorado & Oregon; also was a wrangler on a few different guest ranches in Colorado for six summers. Constructed and taught an Environmental Technician Training Program for a vocational college in Tacoma, WA. Worked as a HazMat Specialist in both the public (for Sacramento County) & private (as a consultant) spheres for about eight years, inspecting facilities for regulatory compliance, training employees in HazMat management, and writing Environmental Impact Statements.
