Introduction	I'm an amateur photographer. It's true. But I'm working on getting better, and I'm going to share that process here, on this blog. Pointing and laughing is expected/encouraged. I'm going to make a lot of mistakes. In fact, if I had started this blog five years ago, when I first started photography as a hobby, I'd already have filled up half the internet with my mistakes. Don't you worry--I've still got plenty of mistakes left in me, and I'm going to share them here. See here's the thing--I'm a photographer. But I'm also a full-time software developer. And a full-time dad. And husband. And a professional musician on nights and weekends. Those aren't excuses... OK, maybe they are, but I don't want them to be. I want to SAY something with my camera. I really feel like I do have things to say, but I want to be good at it. I want to be as good as I am at anything else I do. And that's going to take time. And patience. And lots of mistakes.
