| Introduction | Je m'appelle Madame Manley, ta professeur de français. I was born in 1978 on Long Island, NY although I moved to London, England one year later. I attended school in London for ten years before moving back to New York. I spent my summers in the South of France with my grandparents (I'm named after my French Nannie) and practiced French at home with my mom. In 1995 I graduated from Valley Central High School with blue hair and punk rock clothes. I never went to my Senior Prom since I didn't have a boyfriend that was even half cool enough to take me. I attended college at SUNY New Paltz majoring in French and education. It's amazing I accomplished so much because I am legally blind and without my contact lenses I wouldn't be able to see 5 fingers in front of my face! I am married to an English teacher at JWB and a mama to our beautiful 7 month old son, Jackson. I have been teaching at Miller Middle School since 2001. <3 J'adore mon école, mon mari, ma maison, ma chatte, ma famille, les vêtements, faisant le shopping, la bonne cuisine,le cinéma, la musique, et toutes les choses françaises! |
