| Introduction | Hi there to begin with I am a mom of 3 adult boys and 2 girl dogs...a lovely big 'staffy/boxer' cross and a bossy little 'yorkier/poddle' cross. I am a confessed fabricholic that loves quilting, sewing and recently fallen into a new love .....machine embroidery. As far as a career goes I am a self employed corporate training and adult education consultant. In simple terms that means I develop and deliver training in corporations when they implement change such as a new computer system or new processes. This work and my passion for sewing has lead me to another part time job as an Educator for Brother Canada. As an Educator I train new Brother Dealers and customers on how to use Brother sewing and embroidery machines....am I lucky or what. Didn't someone once say - follow your passion - or do what you love. ME - I am living proof. I live with my hubby and dogs in a hillside home that backs onto a nature reserve just outside of Vancouver. From my great room AND studio window I have a magnificent view of mountains, the river, birch and pine trees. We are visited by many birds and sometimes deer. It is what I would call Paradise. |
