Introduction	I’m Alexandra Keresztes. For as long as I remember, I have been doing craft projects. My love for crafts started when I attended Asphalt Green Day Camp in Manhattan and continued as I went to other camps, took art classes in elementary, middle and high school and when I started working as a counselor at summer camps in 2008. Today, I attend the University of Rhode Island and am studying to become an elementary school teacher. Many children now are more interested in electronics than they are in crafting and I believe that this should change. By finding crafts that children enjoy, they are more likely to put down their video game controllers. The crafts on this site are intended for parents, teachers and other childcare persons to do with children, frequently with little parental intervention.
