Introduction | Grew up in Hamburg, Germany, came to the US at 24 to study World Religions and Philosophy (Ph.D.) and taught in those fields until 1996. I have a book published: In the Margins of Deconstruction: Jewish Conceptions of Ethics in Emmanuel Levinas and Jacques Derrida. I have three sons (Noah, b. 1996; Jacob, b. 1998; Gabriel, b. 2005). Switched careers in 1996. Got MS/MSW at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am now licensed in the state of Illinois to practice as a psychotherapist. |
