| Introduction | My husband Bear and I have been married 37 years. We live in North Georgia where we enjoy country living in the city. An Atlanta native, I love all things southern. No longer working in my previous career as a homeschool mom, I am adapting to our empty nest while overseeing my 86 1/2 year old mother's care in a wonderful assisted living. My greatest accomplishment is raising 2 amazing sons who love God, family, and country. I'm happiest when spending time with my family, especially our four precious grandchildren! I hope to be an encouragement to others through this blog. The areas I am most experienced in are homeschooling through high school; caregiving for a loved one with Alzheimer's; and long time marriage and the empty nest. |
