| Introduction | My name is Dave Anderson and I have been riding motorcycles since 1970. In 1977 I bought my first Beemer and it was love at first RIDE! I travelled to Munich Germany in 1981 and was factory trained in BMWs. This was prior to the training being available in Canada. I moved to Calgary in 1981 and decided this is where I wanted to make my permanent home. I founded Anderwerks in 1982 and worked at it for a while. Then wanderlust hit me and I hung the company up on the wall for a while and became a fixed wing aviation mechanic. I travelled all over the place and became some what a 'scooter tramp'. In spring of 1994 I decided to settle down and reactivated Anderwerks Motorrad Spezialist and have not looked back! I have the following BMWs: 1960 R27, 1965 R60, 1969 R69S, 1975 R75/6 Side Hack,1975 R90S, 1978 R100RS, 2001 F650GS, and a 2006 HP2. My biggest problem is getting time to ride my bikes. I have been riding in Mexico in the off season for the past 8 years, and have found some awesome roads & places, as well made some lasting friendships. |
