| Introduction | Hi everyone.
I'm not much on pictures, so here's an image of my baby boy, Tigger, showing you all how unenthusiastic I would feel about putting a picture of myself on my page! I teach African American History and African American Studies at SUNY Fredonia. I have a special interest in individual and communal identity and the pursuit of civil rights, broadly defined. I believe that Black Lives Matter, No Human is Illegal, we should be Idle No More, Love is Love, Science is Real, Women's Rights are Human Rights, and a whole lot of other things! Most importantly, I believe in the value of open and respectful discussion of our views and our differences on these and so many other issues. |
