Introduction	I'm a corporate sales person turned baker/cake decorator. After spending most of my adult life building my career in the Healthcare industry, I was a casualty of corporate downsizing and a bad economy and like many others got the "As a result of this merger your position is no longer needed" speech. Bummer... not really! This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it catapulted me into following my true north. And just like that, A Cupcake To Remember was born (a home based catering Co. for specialty cupcakes) As my orders grew, so did my interest in cake decorating. After countless hours of online tutorials, videos, baking books, articles, cake- central...(you get it right?) I was ready to take my skills to the next level. I enrolled in the The French Culinary Institute in their Cake Techniques and Design course created by the cake master himself, Ron Ben Israel. Now that I have completed my training my focus is on growing my business, making wonderful pieces of art that are both visually appealing as well as delicious and sharing tips and pearls with cake decorators across the world. Yes, I do get to have my cake and eat it too! Life is good...
