| Introduction | I am a 5'2" female that parachuted out of the womb in a karate stance. My tender gender didn't keep me from taking on the world nor did that pretty pink dress mom insisted I wear. So that's me. I am adventurous, gregarious, stubborn, caring, creative, a champion for fairness, lover of animals, art, and very loyal to my family and friends. I have lived in a converted garage, a home with an unintended indoor pool, and a sailboat, all in the captivating state of California. A lifelong artist and art teacher of 30 years, there were many obstacles in my way. I knew early on that no one else would pave the way or provide for me, and so I built a plan while in high school for my future. I stumbled more than once. I took the wrong turns. But here I am, mostly in one piece. I did it, and not flying a feminist flag, but with grit and determination. Ready, set…..GO! |
