| Introduction | I 've started this blog while attending Methods II at LCB Teachers Training College. As any teacher of English as a Foreign Language who has attended college knows, we are usually taught a number of 'Ways of...' (walking, looking, speaking...). My purpose for creating this blog is to explore the range of 'ways of teaching' (and learning) English that are available to us. These range from the well-established methods and approaches which have greatly influenced our profession throughout history, to the least-known individual work and views of the ordinary teacher. So you are welcome to contribute with your opinions on your ways of teaching. I believe that getting to know other ways can be of great help to reflect upon and improve our own practice. |
