Introduction	I'm the nerd who you hear about - the one with a floor to ceiling bookshelf of science fiction books, and has seen every episode of Star Trek at least twice. Well I suppose you don't often hear about those nerds...they tend to keep to themselves...well I guess I am that nerd in an extrovert's body. I'm a 10 year veteran of the Army, an entrepreneur, writer, public speaker, and now blogger. I write and talk about the future of space to anyone who will listen/read. And figured blogging was a good way to record the stories I tell. I prefer telling stories to recounting facts, so all my posts are 'fictional' in that they haven't happened. But all of them are non-fiction in that they are based around tech that currently exists or is being researched for use in space. I like to think people can relate better to situations they can more easily imagine...and lets be honest, the future is never as awesome (or horrible) as we imagine. So why not make forecasts relateable.
