| Introduction | My blog, “still alive”, was started to chronicle the adventures I’ll surely experience in my move to a far away land, Singapore. Sometimes a great change is needed to stir things up a bit by personally experiencing some of that fun and interesting stuff we all see on Discovery and NatGeo. Suburban life is wonderful in many ways, however, it would be awful fun to explore this world a bit more to see how other people live their lives. I have little doubt Southeast Asia has more than enough to offer. I established the art gallery, Reflective Splendor, in early 2008 after a couple exhilerating trips to Peru. In short, I found a vibrant culture, a joyful and welcoming people, beautiful landscapes and bountiful art. I continue many relationships with artists in Peru. No doubt I’ll develop new relationships of all sorts in the diverse countries near Singapore. My short list includes; Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. In comparison to my previous careers in cardiac rehabilitation, corporate communication skills training and business analytical software sales this ought to be fun. ..to say the least. |
