| Introduction | About the blog “Take off”: I started this blog for a blogging class I was taking for my Masters in Literacy, and it just kind of evolved and ‘took off’ from there. Mostly this is just a place to talk about my feelings about living in a remote arctic village and what it can be like to live there. I wish that every post was positive in nature about my life, and the arctic (since there is so much stuff on the internet that is negative about the north), but I will say that it is a true reflection of my experience. About me: I'm a teacher, I'm a dreamer, I'm an optimist, a believer, a lover, a doer, a sit and wait-er. I'm pretty boring but my friends tell me otherwise. |
