| Introduction | I am married to the hottest rare book librarian in the world (Lynne), and I am the primary caregiver for my special needs daughter, Caitlin. Caitlin has a rare congenital disorder called Aicardi Syndrome (www.aicardisyndrome.org). I work with her and coordinate the dozens of doctors, teachers, therapists, and providers who help with her care. I am also an advocate for children with special needs. I am the Co-Chair of the DeKalb County Local Interagency Networking Council (LINC), and I am a member of the City of DeKalb Advisory Commission on Disabilities. I was on the planning committee for the 8th Biennial Aicardi Syndrome Family Conference. I recently became a flunky for the spectacular folks at Mad Norwegian Press (http://www.madnorwegian.com/). I was an Associate Editor for the Angel guidebook Redeemed, About Time 6, and AHistory 2nd Edition (guidebooks to Doctor Who). I am currently co-writing Fluid Links, a comprehensive guidebook to Doctor Who novels and audios. I am also an aspiring SF writer working on my first novel. |
