| Introduction | I am a retired attorney,currently serving on the Board of Directors of Children Rising, a non-profit organization providing mentoring services in reading, math and science to children in Oakland elementary schools. Since retirement I have traveled to the Democratic Republic of Congo to help establish legal clinics for victims of sexual assault and served several years on the board of Global Strategies which provides medical training and services in several under served countries. Currently I am writing a young people's book about children who inadvertently stumble into a strange world. |
