Introduction	Thomas has had strong interest and traded in equity and commodity markets since early 1990s, conduct research on macroeconomics and fundamentals such as business cycle, sector rotation, trend analysis, and asset evaluation and allocation. He has designated as Chartered Finance Analyst (CFA) since 2004. After investing for over 15 years, Thomas knows a winner when he sees one. By employing a combination of fundamental and technical analysis, he searches for the most promising sector in the market, and then concentrates about 70-80% of his portfolio in that sector. In the past, he had invested in biotechs, high-yield preferreds and Canadian energy trusts, and also distressed corporate bonds going through restructuring. Since 2004, his main focus has been in the precious metals and mining industry, and has built and managed a portfolio of over 40 mining stocks. The trend has been Thomas's friend for a long time, and he sees no reason to change that approach to investing now.
