| Introduction | This is the continuing story of my adventure into China - and the rest of the world ... It started back in Spring of 2007 when I was asked to help start a manufacturing facility in Chengdu (Sichuan Province) and continued with my next assignment to start another facility in Xiangtan (Hunan Province) and has now expanded in support of manufacturing around the globe including India and Romania. The idea was more than just exciting - it was the invitation to an adventure I never dreamed could happen and I will never forget! I arrived knowing absolutely nothing about the country and the culture. After several weeks and quite a few excursions into the local scene, I was convinced by my brother that my stories needed to be captured for more people to enjoy. So here it is - my blog. These are my stories as I experienced them, so no apologies for my wide-eyed wonderment and the occasional political incorrectness. The grammar may be sloppy and the style may lack the polish expected of professional writers, but perhaps you will still enjoy my experiences as much as I have. |
