| Introduction | I'm Syen. A bit of an idealist, but very much a realist. I love dogs, books, traveling, a good movie, banana waffles with chocolate ice-cream (insane, I know) and I LOVE makeup. I blame it on Kahani, who turned me into her little makeup monster, Franchenstine, from the first blush she gave me. And with the first makeover she did for me. I totally converted. I've lived my entire life in Malaysia. Mainly in Kuala Lumpur, but I've spent a few short years in a little town somewhere south. I do serious stuff for work, so my blog's my fluffy side. But I totally love it. My makeup collection started with one Estee Lauder lipstick (from mommy), one lipbalm (ok, maybe two), one compact powder and one blush. Then one Lancome palette (from Kahani). And the rest, as they say, is history. Kahani and I decided to start So Loverly in April, 2008, after having so much to rave about certain products, and no one to rave to except each other. (Now we have you!) My dream would be to one day step into Sephora - my idea of makeup haven - and be able to shop by the truckloads. Well, either that, or own my own personal library. =P |
