| Introduction | I capitalize the "V" in my signature as a tribute my wife Valerie; the center of my life for three decades now. (Yes, I'm shmaltzy -- or as our kids characterize me, dorky.) We have three grown children, all in college at this time. I have held many jobs over the years, including actor, college instructor, drill rig operator, photographer, high-risk intervention counselor, associate pastor, photographer, community services case manager, teacher, and paper boy. Most of my published works are media tie-in, both game-based universes and television. I have written fiction, web content, and role-player reference material for Shadowrun, MechWarrior, and BattleTech. My stories have appeared in three Star Trek: Strange New Worlds anthologies, and Doctor Who Short Trips: Destination Prague). I have written two Star Trek SCE e-novels, Orphans and Honor (which are also included in the Grand Designs and Out of the Cocoon trade paperback anthologies published by Pocket). My two novels, Wolf Hunters (2006), To Ride the Chimera (2008) were published by Roc. I also write original fiction, both short stories and novels. |
