Introduction	Steve and I have a knack for getting ourselves into situations that will definitely lead to culture shock. From the city of Englewood, Colorado, we relocated to some empty land at 8500' in the Rockies West of Pueblo where our nearest neighbors were in a small town 15 miles away and the entire county had a population of around 9000 So yes, Culture Shock. After 17 years of living in the wilds, we relocated to Phoenix, then Tucson, AZ. From high altitude with snow measured in feet, to about 1000 feet above sea level, hot and dry. From secluded to urban. Culture Shock. As we are closing in on retirement age, we have been looking for a new adventure, first considering Costa Rica. Then after much research, we decided on Ecuador.
