| Introduction | My actual profession is as a soldier currently serving in Fort Lee, VA. My actual position is as a training developer. I am responsible for analyzing and revising training in order to make it relevant to today's needs. Additionally, I am responsible for creating new training every time new equipment is fielded to the force, or when new methods are more beneficial to the service members. My job requires me to be proficient at writing and researching. Also, I am a freelance writer. I find exciting the task of learning, researching, and writing about a topic. As a writer, I feel that I have a responsibility to share what I learn trough research. In other words, I have a responsibility to teach other through my writings. I like to write about any topic, however, my specialties are: Fuel Operations, Travel, and Book Reviews. By trade, I am a Petroleum Laboratory Specialist in the U.S. Army. Because of my job, I have traveled the world extensively. My book review experience comes from from my habit as a voracious reader and my experience as a student majoring in English. |
