Introduction	Hi, my name is Alicia Shimmens. This is my 2nd year teaching 3rd grade at St. Peter's, but I have taught 4 years prior with the Jefferson City Public Schools. I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year and to make this my best year yet! I am married to Brad Shimmens, my highschool sweetheart, who was a St. Peter's Saint. We have been married for two and half years. We had our first baby in March of 2016, her name is Henley. We love to be involved in our community, and hang with our family and friends during our free time.
