Introduction	Beverly Cleary and her adorable utopia made me happy as a kid and damnit they make me happy now. I read my fair share of SVH, Lurlene, Babysitter's Club and all those other series that warped our collective world views, but Beverly Cleary never made me wear a beret and "Ms.Frizzle" outfit on school picture day, thanks very much Ann M. Martin and ghost writers, and thus I am free to remember her fondly, without an accompanying rush of adolescent shame. Ramona Quimby is one of my favorite characters of all time, and I am really looking forward to writing about her. Plus, yay next time when I'm in the kids' section and someone asks if I have a child I can say "No I have a blog" and it'll sound like a valid excuse! I can be reached at BeezusQ@gmail.com
