| Introduction | In 2008 I was living in a posh neighborhood tucked in Bethesda, MD. One night four FBI agents showed up at my door to inform me that my husband had just been arrested (after a high speed chase) for robbing a bank, possession of a firearm, and an enormous amount of Oxycontin. That night changed everything that I thought about the life I was living and the life that I was going to live. I took about 24 hours to feel sorry for myself and then I picked up the world (the world that my then 2 and 4 year old daughters knew) on my shoulders and have been doing the heavy lifting ever since. This is a no pity/no whining/no excuses zone. Get up out of bed and do what needs to be done! |
