| Introduction | Im one of those girls who never forgets where she came from. I remember every cut, scrape, tear, and abusive word said towards me. I remember every face from my past, every friend and enemy I made along the way to get where I am. Some people regret their pasts, but I uphold mine. My enemies made me stronger, my friends made me wiser, and my actions defined me. Every obsession I had fed my creativity and every thought brought out my inner wantings. I will never forget my past because it is my past that shaped me into who I am today; a student/person who is bent on making something of herself in the future so when that day does come around, I can tell every person in my past who thought I would get no where, "Look at who I was, who I am, and who I will become." For now, I am the girl who tells you how it is, a girl who is trying to make something of her future, and a girl who tries to be the opposite of societies norm. My tattoos are my scars and badges of all things that happened to me, branded on me in times of happiness and in times of pain. My attitude is the definition of my growth in life. I am the girl your parents warned you about. |
