| Introduction | I'm a teacher from Jersey who calls himself a New Yorker and lives in Seattle. I've been an actor, writer, director, server at Chili's, Elvis impersonator, birthday party clown, and video store clerk. I'm glad we're all different in this world and like learning about people's lives and experiences (I also don't mind talking about mine). What I learn about people in different places and circumstances shapes the way I view the world and treat others, even if it means changing core beliefs I grew up with. Just because we aren't aware of something doesn't mean it isn't there, and just because we did things in the past doesn't mean we should keep doing them. I have no tolerance for backwards thinking or people who think they know everything about everything, because nobody does. |
