Introduction I learned to sew on a treadle sewing machine when I was five and learned to quilt in 1994. My first quilt was a Lone Star from a Georgia Bonesteel book. I have been juried into the WV Tamarack with my quilts and wallhangings, although now I quilt strictly for my pleasure. I am a member of the Log Cabin Quilters Guild in Elkins, WV and the West Virginia Quilters state guild. I enjoy traditional quilts and handquilting, although time doesn't allow much for that. My favorite machine is a Bernina 1530. I have a strange addiction to fabric, especially reproduction feedsack prints. I also an afflicted with purchasing quilt stencils, especially "feathers."
