| Introduction | My name is Lara Richardson. I recently graduated with my undergrad from Washington State Univeristy. In May I married the love of my life. As a recent college grad and recently married, I am working towards my dream job as a full time teacher. Currently I am substituting in two school districts to pay off my student loans. This blog is coming from my experiences in different classrooms. The idea came from my mentor teacher who didn't do any substituting and asks me about different things I have seen that I like that she could possibly incorporate. I also noticed the severe lack of blogs that helped to talk about the hiring process and the in's and out's of working from college graduate to hopeful teacher. I hope this blog can bring a little of everything for teachers to be and teachers looking into something new for the classroom. |
