| Introduction | I am the daughter of the beautiful Peggy Joyce Sanders of Jenkins, Kentucky and am referred to as "Libby" by the family. I began researching my maternal family history in 2000 and have since established a website to share my findings. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was raised as an only child in KY, SC and NC. I currently live in Tucson, AZ with my husband Peter and our 12 yr old malamute-husky mix `Lobo Girl". Pete and I are both in recovery and live a very simple life together. I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C (genotype 1a) in 1995 and retired from property management shortly thereafter. I have since attempted two 24 week courses of combo treatment, but unfortunately was unable to eradicate the virus. I have since advanced to third stage liver fibrosis with bridging and am waiting for a new tx to become available. Until then, I will do my best to remain positive and enjoy every moment of this beautiful life I have been given. |
