| Introduction | As a current theology student, asking questions that seem heretical is part of life. What I have come to see is that doubt is not the opposite of faith, but rather a profound expression thereof. I find there are more questions than answers, but I am trying to embrace them, and the glorious mystery that is God. Instead of remaining ignorant and blind in faith, I would rather be an honest fool who sought truth, and chose the best available option: to love. When it comes down to it, all we really can do is it to make the best of what we have and fight for what we believe to be right, so long as it does not endanger those around us. |
