Introduction	Our story begins when we were both 1-year old babies. John's family lived in Virginia right by my grandparents. My family flew to VA one week to visit Grammy and Grampy Babbel, and John and I laid eyes on each other for the first time in the church nursery. I accidentally drooled on him, and after that he was never the same. John began a lifelong quest to find me again. Our families both moved—the McAllisters settled in Mesa and the Babbels settled in Philly. John turned 19 and received a mission call to Brazil, to serve with President Babbel (my dad). I got a mission call to serve in Mesa, AZ. My parents and brother wrote me letters from Brazil, telling me heroic stories about Elder McAllister, and meanwhile inventing amazing stories about me to tell to John. After our missions ended, we both returned to BYU. We met for the 2nd time in the Provo Temple Celestial Room in May ‘04 when a mutual friend introduced us. We quickly became good friends with huge crushes on each other. It took John a LONG time to get up the nerve to ask me out, but we finally had our first date on March 1, 2005. The rest is history. We were married on December 17, 2005. We LOVE married life!
