| Interests | LOL I am interested in everything. This is not a joke, it drives most people i know batty and is why I spent most of school being snidely refferred to as The Walking Dictionary. I know little snippets of information on many many many subjects. I am not a specialist in ANY subject. Which is good because I was told by a lovely lady that being a specialist meant you know a lot about very little. Which in itself is good if you are a brain surgeon, I WANT YOU TO BE A SPECIALIST IN BRAIN SURGERY. But for me, its just not how my brain works. My brain must store EVERY singe piece of information it has ever seen, read, heard and then it randomly replays that information when I am attempting to concentrate on a specific subject, activity or heaven forbid I actually try to get restful sleep! |
| Favorite Movies | Oooh lol well I could be here ALLLL DAY filling out all the movies I do like. However, I do not like the Nick Cage movie where he is an alcoholic and tries(succeeds eventually) to drink himself to death while keeping company with a prostitute. I have nothing against alcoholics or prostitutes, i just did not like this movie. I also thought the Simpsons movie was totally boring, and was there only as a chaperonne because DD's soccer team went to see it as a group and DS plus two friends wanted to go too. |
| Favorite Music | Hmm lets make it easier, what music DONT I LIKE. WELL, I do NOT like RAP music, especially at 3am when my neighbour forgets what time it is and decides to practice his DJ'ing skills (from what I hear he is actually quite good at DJ'ing, I just dont like his taste of music unfortunately). I also do NOT LIKE hearing the other neighbour (male, early twenties, lives alone with his twin brother) screeching at the top of his lungs about how he "wants to lick your lolly pop and lick your lolly cream" UGGHHH, EWWWW, CLOSE YOUR BLOODY WINDOWS IF YOU ARE GOING TO SING THAT SORT OF THING!! Other than that, I like most music, I like most musicians, I have a playlist of 3, 500 tracks, some of which are the only song I like from a particular artist, and others are complete collections of artists albums. It just depends on what day it is, how the planets are aligned, what time it is and wether or not my family has driven me up the wall and round the bend today! |
| Favorite Books | ALL OF THEM, except the one that was written totally in American Ghetto Punk Rap terminology, it might have been a good book, but I just couldnt get past the language barrier to read more than the first chapter. I read lots of books, I like fiction and non fiction, I like stories based in warzones and from the point of a sniper or submarine commander (Tom Clancy Genre here), I like nonsense poetry (such as found in Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the looking Glass), I have read the entire Maquarie Dictionary several times over, The entire Bible and The Book of Morman (I am not morman, it was just interesting to read anothers perspective). I would like to read a translation of the Koran and also the fundamentals of Bhuddism, just to compare them with the Bible and Books of Mormon, I also like easy reading, Maeve Binchy, Alison Duboi (hoping i spelt that right), I LOVE KATHY REICHS, Murder, Anatomy, Physiology, Archeology, Politics and love triangles all from a very believable and identifiable main character. |
