Introduction	Crustacean have a hard outer shell called an exoskeleton which protects them from an ever-changing world around them. I like that image! This blog is a place for me to share my ideas and perspectives on the sometimes puzzling world around me as I travel to new places and experience new lands and cultures. In December 2009 I went the way of the hermit crab and transported myself and my home from California across the Atlantic to put down roots in England.
